A parade inspired by Crewe’s Tank Week – In 1918 a parade happened in Crewe to drum up support for the newest machine in the war effort, the tank. A hundred years on, join communities from across Cheshire East who have collaborated with Yet Another Carnival to create a parade which explores the unknowns and hardships of war, as well as celebrating the lesser-known stories of communities supporting each other, and finding strength and solidarity in adversity.
The parade will have several pause moments along the route where bands will play, stories will be shared and War bonds can be purchased…
