Picnic in the Park – Tatton Park – Sunday 26th August

March 2, 2018

Cheshire East Reflects will host a family day of activities, music and stories commemorating the First World War in the historic setting of Tatton’s Old Hall grounds.

The event will commence at 11am on Sunday 26th August in the Walled Garden of the Old Hall within the grounds of Tatton Park, with the concert beginning at 1pm.

The public are invited to bring their picnic and be entertained by Fodens Brass Band and Stafforshire Military Wives Choir as part of the programme.

This event has been made possible with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Further events are being arranged in Crewe and Tatton Park in November.

If you wish to promote any Events reflecting World War One, or have photographs and historic items to display please enter them on the appropriate page of this web site.

This is the final year of the Cheshire East Reflects programme and as a lasting legacy for this project, we have tried to capture a true reflection of the impact that the First World War had on the famileys and communities of the Cheshire East area.
